Top Instagram Spots In Amsterdam
Alright here we are, probably one of your favorite stops in Europe if you have ever been here once. Of course Amsterdam is much more than Red Light District and the weed stores. So if you wanna see all the great sights and top attractions, definitely check my other post about Amsterdam.
In this one I’ll talk about the the ideal Instagram spots in Amsterdam for the people who wants to pose for the Gram. Of course with all its canals, flower markets, bridges and beautiful buildings, Amsterdam is quite a good choice for anyone who wants to build some Instagram. Here are my top picks for your Amsterdam photo journey:
What could be better than starting with the most epic look both for you and for your photos. This famous swing of Amsterdam gonna get you an epic view of the city. Take your best friend or your loved one here and get your picture on the swing. You can just take a ferry to pass across the other side of the river.
Only thing I would complain about it would be the price. We paid 20$ for entry and 5$ for swing and like these weren’t enough, they gave us our decent pictures and tried to sell us our best one for another 6$. So place works for profit for sure…Staff definitely DON’T know how to take good photos, so better have another friend with you up there!
If you want that typical Amsterdam view on post cards, definitely make stop in here. Try to find some bikes around to include it to the picture. Any Amsterdam picture won’t be complete without the bikes in them. One simple warning: it’s always crowded and bikes are passing. They probably won’t care about your photo and any accidents may happen, so keep an eye on them.
Well this location may not be for everyone’s Instagram. (hope you got me 😉). But still the ones who are interested, the flower market provides so many colorful backgrounds for your pictures. Its one of the unique places for Amsterdam, so any great picture taken in here will probably take a good exposure in gram. I’d suggest to take more close-up portraits here to show more emotions. Of course you can also take some landscapes to show more variety of flowers on the background, totally up to you :).
Red Light District (Night Time Photos)
Well Amsterdam is not all about Red Light District I said, but still it is one of the best parts to see when the sun is down. There were actually much greater spots to take photos but this specific place with the sign “Moulin Rouge” attracts so many people, so I wanted to put a picture from this place So definitely check it out, and after taking your photo I’ll never judge whatever else you would like to do there, at the end of the day you’re in Amsterdam right? 😉
Groenburgwal towards Zuiderkerk Church
This is a cool spot whether on daylight or night time. You’ll get the great angle along the Groenburgwal canal facing towards the Zuiderkerk Church. The reflection of the river might not be ideal all the time, but usually early morning is a good time.
Now you know the top spots to take pictures in Amsterdam and have your Amsterdam posts ready on Instagram. Hope you have amazing time in Amsterdam! For any questions you have related to your trip, you can leave a comment and get tips directly from authors!
