Top 8 Amazing Restaurants Of San Francisco In 2019 !
San Francisco is one of the most international cities in California, which is also hosting so many different cuisines from all around the world. Especially with the best selection of the Asian food, city has lot more to offer. This blog post will mostly include the Asian food, Italian and Modern American food places!
China Live (China Town)
Warning: Make a reservation very earlier. We went there without a reservations, and they said us to wait 1 hour to get seated. But you can always try their bar where the chefs are cooking in front of you which is also pretty cool. The appetizers are awesome and the Dim-sum was great! Try “Stone Oven Roasted Duck and Pan Fried Pork Dumplings. Everything was almost perfect. Prices were reasonably high due to the great service.
A main dining area plays centerpiece, appointed with chairs and tables all handcrafted in China from reclaimed Chinese elm. This area is good to buy some good stuff for your kitchen if you are good with Chinese food. And behind that area you’ll see the bar, dining tables and the chefs who are cooking right in front of the people. Great place for dinner highly recommending it!
E’ Tutto Qua (North Beach)
Da BEST Italian Restaurant that I have ever been and I can say that because I went there more than 10 times by now. I have never seen such a lovely staff who love to enjoy good conversation with guests and stop by your table all the time with a huge smile! The food…best selection of pizza, and fresh Italian pasta. You should try their Tiramisu, if you have any space after dinner. Compared to other Italian restaurants in Little Italy, prices are similar but the taste is much better.
Tony’s Pizza Napoletana (North Beach)
Step in for the award winning Margarita of Tony! That was one of the best pizza that I’ve ever tasted. It might be busy inside the restaurant sometimes, but there is always the next door area where you can just order take out from restaurant and sit in the next door to eat. Margarita is quite big and costs 24$. I agree it is really pricy but just spend it once and you won’t regret!
Osha Thai Restaurant & Lounge (Embarcadero)
It is one of the fanciest Thai Restaurant I’ve seen in San Francisco. It is located in my favorite place, Embarcadero center, where you can really enjoy the city. About Osha, it has one of the biggest variety in its bar with super fancy drinks. And the pad thai was yum! Prices are unfortunately as high as they taste good. But it’s a must visit if you love Thai food.
Tonga Room & Hurricane Bar (Fairmont)
Only one word would describe our night in Tonga Room: AMAZING! This is one of the restaurants with the weirdest and stunning interior design. Place has a Hawaiian atmosphere with a pool in the center. Live music was awesome and the band was on a moving boat on the pool. A very tasty menu of Japanese and Hawaiian food made our night. Definitely try this place for a fun experience or even for a romantic dinner. Go head and make your reservation to have an amazing night!
Mac Daddy (Potrero Hill)
When the daddy wants some Mac & Cheese, this is the only right place to go. With over 10 different styles of Mac & Cheese, this place will be your #1 cheat day location. Be aware that there are LIMITED seats, so sometimes you may have to wait like 10-15 minutes. But the weather in southern part of the city is slightly nicer with less wind, and they have a nice little area outside for you to sit and wait.
Mister Jiu’s (Financial District)
It’s a high-end Chinese cuisine with a California accent in a restored historic space with high style. It was a bit expensive but since I wanted to discover the good Asian places in the city, I wanted to try at least once. I’d say this is a cool place to try just once and enjoy the food since it was quite tasty. Atmosphere was also relaxing and nice.
Kitchen Istanbul (Inner Richmond)
Alright, of course I would make an exception and put my favorite Turkish Restaurant as a bonus! I always like when people introduce me one of their favorite restaurants for their cuisine, so let me show you the BEST Turkish Food Joint in San Francisco. Prices were reasonable and the food was literally the best that I tried. I was really missing some dishes that reminds me home. So I’d totally recommend you to try Beyti Kebap, Moussaka and also their dish called “Sultan’s Delight”. Of course finish it with Kunefe or Baklava which are my absolute favorite desserts of all time!
And that’s it for the top 8 restaurants from San Francisco. When you’re done with your food, here are the top attractions and the places to live the California Dream as a visitor or as a local.
